Guest Hub — the business case

Days Inn

Guest Hub is one live board of every room, every guest request and every person on shift — on the front desk screen and on housekeeping's phones. It is already built and running against the property's real data. This page is what it is worth.

The arithmetic

Fill the shaded blanks with our actual figures before the meeting. The formulas do not change.

What improves How it turns into money Per month
{{ m.item }} {{ m.how }} {{ m.blank }}

What it costs

  • Build: already done — no development spend to approve
  • Running cost: $___ / month hosting and data
  • Hardware: none — staff use their own phones
  • Training: 40 minutes per housekeeper, once

What is already working

  • Front desk board, request queue, property map
  • Housekeeping route on phones, offline-safe
  • Maintenance tickets with photos
  • Guest-facing request page and check-in

What I'm asking for this morning

Five minutes to watch one real situation move through the system — a 4 PM arrival with the room not ready. No decision needed today. If it looks right, the natural next step is a 30-day trial on one wing, with the front desk keeping its current process alongside it.

Independently owned and operated under a Days Inn® by Wyndham franchise agreement. Figures in shaded blanks are to be completed with property data and are not estimates.

Rollout and cost

Two weeks from a yes to the whole property running on it, without a day of parallel double-entry beyond the first wing.

What is not in scope

Guest Hub does not take bookings, hold card details or replace anything Wyndham requires. Rates, reservations and Wyndham Rewards stay exactly where they are — guests still book on Wyndham.com and the property still runs its brand-required systems. This sits on top, for operations.

If we stop after the trial

Nothing is stranded. The property returns to its current process the same afternoon, staff keep their phones, and there is no contract to unwind. That is the cheapest possible way to find out whether this is worth it.

Questions you will get, and what to say

Short answers work better than complete ones. If a question needs more than three sentences, offer to show it instead.

Three things not to do

  • Do not tour features. One situation, start to finish, then stop talking.
  • Do not quote a number you cannot source. “I'd want to measure that over 30 days” is a stronger answer than a guess.
  • Do not ask for a decision in the room. Ask for the trial, and leave the two manuals on the desk.

Internal preparation notes — not for distribution.
